Citizens would have to be my recommendation. At least they help you and explain everything so you know exactly where you stand and how your student debt consolidation will help you. Best advice I can give is to shop around and meet few consolidation lenders. Make an informative decision!

I should tell you that there are many uses for the old secured personal loans and you should get one fairly quickly and painlessly. It’s a common misconception that only homeowners can get loans from finance companies but the truth is that most people can apply for them and receive an unsecured personal loan if they have a good credit rating, they don’t need to be a homeowner.

Hmm.., are any banks consolidating at present? I thought all that was put on hold because of the recession. You might get a better deal with private companies than with a bank.

Try calling the credit card companies and telling them about your financial problems. You’d be surprised how many credit card companies will try to work things out with you. Needless to say they want to get their money back but getting even a little bit is always better than not getting anything. I wouldn’t go with those debt consolidation companies because they will charge you an astronomical fee (so I’ve heard). Anyway, good luck

Sounds like you’ve fallen into the debt trap so you need to earn more money and pay off your cards asap. Sometimes that’s the only way. Try something that you can do part time, maybe work based on commission? In some ways it is much more lucrative that a guaranteed hourly wage. Sorry, can;t give a better advice than this

Your frind is right. Go to the home page and just read it through to get a better understanding of why it is better to start paying your consolidation loans sooner then later.

Why don’t you transfer all the balances to one credit card? I really don’t think you can reduce your payments, even if you could get a consolidation loan somewhere, your payment will be more or less the same. My suggestion is that until you have a proper income don’t charge your credit cards anymore. That’s where many people go wrong.
